I am so excited for this year’s Youth Convention at Tan-Tar-A resort in Osage Beach. We will again join churches from all over northern Missouri and hundreds of students for a fantastic weekend. You won’t want to miss this weekend. There will be a fantastic speaker, great music and times to hang out together and have fun. Join our dodgeball team for the annual tournament on Friday night! Make sure to register by Oct. 19th for the early bird discount price of $85. After that the deal is still only $100.

Is that how you define your relationship with Him? An “enthusiastic admirer”? Close enough to Jesus to get the benefits but not so close to require sacrifice?
He was looking for followers. Not just any follower though, but a…
completely. committed. follower.
How would things change if you lived as Jesus lived, and loved the way He loved?

As we get ready to start the year, we want to give students a great opportunity to Worship on Aug. 3rd and then on Aug. 17th we will kick the school-year off with a bang! Our normal C2 Student Experience will be back in full effect.
This includes kicking off a new series for students called “You Are Here: Making the most of now”. Make sure you don’t miss the Back to School kick off on Aug. 17th. Yes, the day before school starts, but what a great what to get off on the right foot. No homework and home in time to get plenty of sleep, you will be ready to go to school but take your school for Christ.
Our new series is called STAY and we’re taking a look at what Jesus meant when he said, “I AM the vine, you are the branches. Remain in me and I will remain in you.” We will look at things that we choose that separate us from being connected to Jesus. There is no outside force (remember nothing can separate us from His love) but there are things that we do to begin removing ourselves from staying in Him. Things like fear and unforgiveness.
